Seldon Griffin Graphics

I am very pleased to let you know about some changes that are happening here at Seldon Griffin Graphics. After careful consideration, we have decided to merge our operation with another company, RP Graphics Group. This amalgamation has been a long time coming and it promises to be very beneficial to our clients. The print industry is changing rapidly, and this move will allow our customers to have access to one of the most modern and progressive printing companies in Canada. RP has a state-of-the-art litho department, as well as a large digital department, a full bindery and a complete mailing facility. The client interfaces.. both human and electronic... are the best available. The plant operates two full shifts each day, providing fast turnaround regardless of the complexity of the project. As a customer of Seldon Griffin, you are accustomed to high-quality work. As a customer of RP, the quality of the work will be even better. In addition, you will benefit from the latest in web-to-print technology, variable-data digital work (think of each of your customers getting a personalized brochure!), automated workflows, digital asset management, and a host of other benefits! Best of all though, you will have access to some of the brightest minds in the industry.

When I began my discussions with the owner of RP, I was concerned that his company would be too big to "care" about some of our smaller clients, but he quickly proved to me that their customers ran the full range from small to huge. Their client list is a "who's who" of some of the most successful businesses and organizations in Ontario and beyond. While RP is a large company, it shares the same “family business” roots as our company. I have had the pleasure of speaking personally to a few of you about this change, and most of you asked the same two questions: “What's in it for me?” and “Are you retiring?”

The answers to these questions are simple. First of all, I am not retiring. In fact, I am very excited about this change. In this new operation, my duties will focus entirely on business development and account management... the two parts of this business I love. While I will be at the new plant daily, the reality is that I will be spending my days as I do now... tending to your needs in the best way I know. In answer to the first question of "What's in it for me?", let me put it this way. In this industry, bigger is better. Running multiple shifts, with the absolute "best" technology available, and with a broader range of services, there is a very good chance that the cost of your project will actually decrease... something that few people complain about. The quality of work will improve perhaps, and the great service you are used to will remain! As "regional" printer, out customers are located from Niagara to Scarborough, so this new location, in west Mississauga, is right in the middle of our primary market. I don’t expect you to make the trip there… I will be happy to come to see you!
